Love it there. Staff is super friendly. Great food! Go watch the Blues, Cardinals or Sunday football. Best bar in the area.
People were socially distant. Food was great. Mixed drink had a strong pour. Prices were spot on. If I lived closer I'd probably visit again
Not a bad place at all. Good food, outdoor smoking area, lots of darts. 3 pool tables, foosball and golden Tee. Nice projector for the games and even have tv's facing outside from inside for the smokers.
Great atmosphere with plenty of TVs to watch the Blues and Cardinals games. Service was excellent and the prices of food and drinks didn't break the bank. Heard they have NFL ticket if there are any football fans
Honestly, an all around great experience. A wide variety of patrons visit this bar both young and old. One of the most welcoming and accepting places I've been to in the Ofallon area. I'm definitely making this a regular stop.
Playoffs is my watering hole, so I'm a bit biased, but honestly there is a reason this is my spot. I've been coming here for well over a decade. Outstanding service, great prices, and the food is excellent. Really can't go wrong stopping in here. Whether it's to grab a bite to eat or you're looking to sit down and get silly. Enjoy! ***Update*** Playoffs has been around for over 20 years. They've moved twice. The first move was right down the street (literally, like a half mile down hwy K) and the ONLY reason they moved was because the law banning smoking in public places was passed, and at the original location there was no room in the strip mall to build an outdoor smoking area. So they moved down the street, and had a nice, heated, covered outdoor patio area for smokers. Now, Playoffs has moved again. However, this move (into the closed Turtle Creek Bar & Grill building) has entirely changed what Playoffs was. Gone are the pool tables, the dart boards (at last check) and the overall feel of the heart and soul of Playoffs. They have an "expanded menu" with expanded prices! It's no longer a cool sports bar that could get a little rowdy now and then. Maybe that appeals to you. Maybe you'll drive your Tesla and go inside and have a martini (shaken, not stirred 😉) There's nothing wrong with that, it's just no longer Playoffs. They should have changed the name when they moved. The good news is a new sports bar called Touchdowns is opening soon at the old Playoffs location. Here's hoping that TD's will retain the original Playoffs charm.
Edit. This place is better than awesome. Wonderful, friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. A real feel local bar and grill. And don't forget FREE BINGO THURSDAYS This place is awesome. And only 2 blocks from my new home.
Good food. Particularly the Mason Wings. Good beer selection, good service and steel tip darts! What more could one ask for? Update, no more dart boards in the new place. Hopefully they'll get at least one installed. The rest of the review stands.
Great bar the kitchen is usually open late really cool atmosphere. Highly suggest. Great replacement to #showmees love live.
Excellent sports bar. The service is excellent. Just be a bit patient. Great place to chat with friends over beers and maybe watch the game on any one of their large TVs. Keno is available and shows on at least two monitors. Golden Tee is popular here. The only negative I can come up with is lack of alternative cheese choices on the pizza. I’m not a fan of the Provolone mix they use. Everything else I’ve tried there has been outstanding. Have been several time and intend to come back. The owner is there frequently and is very friendly.
